More complex multi-party arrangements may require a longer timeline, which we discuss with you at the outset. Contract audit engagements are completed within three to four weeks depending on the size of the portfolio under review.

All contracts are drafted with reference to the Malaysian Contracts Act 1950, relevant industry regulations, and sector-specific standards applicable to your business. Where cross-border elements are involved, we flag governing law considerations and can advise on appropriate jurisdiction clauses.

The audit covers a review of up to fifteen active contracts. We examine each for ambiguous or potentially unenforceable clauses, assess termination and renewal risk, and identify compliance gaps. You receive a prioritised remediation report, an executive summary, and a risk heat map that helps you sequence corrective action according to business impact.

The retainer is a monthly advisory arrangement covering up to 20 hours of legal counsel for active contract negotiations. This includes pre-negotiation strategy sessions, real-time markup and redline commentary, fallback position analysis, and final agreement review. Unused hours roll over to the following month, so your retainer reflects actual engagement rather than a flat calendar fee.

All client information is treated with strict confidentiality and handled in accordance with professional obligations under Malaysian law. We do not share client details, contract terms, or commercial information with any third party without your prior written consent. Confidentiality provisions are built into our engagement terms from the outset.
